Dental Scheduling Coordinator

Job Description:

We are in search of a dedicated Dental Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and organizing patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, and contributing to the overall smooth operation of our dental practice. Experience with WinOMS is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Manage and organize the dental office schedule
• Preparing charts, making sure we have x-rays, referrals, insurance verified prior to appointments
• Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
• Collaborate with dental staff to optimize scheduling and patient flow
• Utilize WinOMS to maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records
• Assist with front desk duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dental Scheduling Coordinator is preferred
• Proficient in using WinOMS
• Exceptional phone skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in scheduling
• Ability to handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
