Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk operations and ensure smooth daily operations
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect payments
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system (Dentrix Ascend)
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up appointments
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using office systems such as Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
