The ideal candidate is someone who has experience working as a school cook or in a nursing home. You will find both environments are very similar to the environment we have established here for our meals.
The candidate must be dependable and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Our cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, serving and cleaning up for 3 meals (Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon snack)
Must be able to follow recipes and prepare meals accordingly and work independently.
Must keep kitchen and meal preparation in sanitary conditions.
Must comply with CACFP serving guidelines (Will Train)
Must be able to create a food order and shop for groceries when needed, must have reliable transportation.
Must have good driving record
Any other job duties that are assigned by the center director
