This position is full-time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Our office is located at2001 Addison ST Berkeley, CA 94704. Employees will be required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.
We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST , Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Interact with client(s) provider on charge detail reports
- Obtain electronic patient records from healthcare billing systems.
- Sorting and preparing of courier services.
- Inputting provider time sheets.
- Perform provider compensation data review
- Reconcile missing cases
- Answer incoming calls from payers & patients.
- Sort and file patient demographic forms
- Locate and retrieve patient demographic forms when requested.
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1 + year of customer service experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (Data Entry, sort / filter, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
- Ability to adhere to a hybrid schedule, while working onsite three days a week at 2001 Addison ST Berkeley, CA 94704.
- Ability to train for the first four weeks between 07:00AM – 04:00PM PST (standard working hours are 8AM-5PM PST).
- Ability to work full-time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry knowledge
- Reside within commutable distance of 2001 Addison ST Berkeley, CA 94704.
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.
