PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Data Center Assembler responsible for constructing and assembling state-of-the-art Data Center racks, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment in support of ongoing projects for an Aerospace and Defense leader in Orlando, FL. This is an an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with and Industry leader on an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity for the 1st shift paying $20 per hour.
Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling state-of-the-art Data Center racks, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.- Perform assembly operations using hand and/or power tools, jigs, lifting, etc.
- The role will require work from planning, diagrams and/or drawings, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills will be essential in collaborating with our team to deliver top-notch results.
- This position will require collaboration with a talented team of professionals, and contribute to the success of our program.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years expereince in mechanical or electromechancial assembly.
- Preferred expereince building and wiring Data Center infrastructure to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency for rack assembly.
- Must be able to work from planning, diagrams, and/or drawings.
- Candidates must posses strong problem-solving skill
- Ability to communication effecttively to deliver top-notch results.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical concepts
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship.
