The Wellness Data and Research Analyst will work with the Chief Wellness Office to lead the data management AND RESEARCH needs of wellness initiatives at Moffitt Cancer Center. This will include the data management of wellness projects including burnout assessments, wellness programs and curriculums, improving clinical workflow efficiency, and resilience training. In addition this role will contribute to improving the national reputation of Moffitt by assisting the Chief Wellness Office's research agenda including IRB submissions, stakeholder collaboration, professional writing and abstract preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Leads Data Analysis for the Chief Wellness Office
- Analyze trends in burnout at Moffitt including associations and drivers.
- Data and project management for wellness initiatives including those focused on improving clinical workflow efficiencies.
- Help define and collect outcome metrics for wellness initiatives.
- Professional and technical writing related to wellness initiatives.
- Prepare presentations of burnout survey data for departments and stakeholders.
- Consult and collaborate on organization-wide surveys relevant to wellbeing.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Assist with the research agenda for the Chief Wellness Office
- Contribute to academic dissemination of innovative wellness initiatives including IRB submission, manuscript preparation and abstract presentations.
- Foster and spearhead collaboration with internal and external partners to work on research projects and evaluations (e.g., multi-site research).
- Engagement in business development activities, identifying opportunities and strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with existing and potential collaborators, and writing proposals.
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Information, Computer Science, Information Systems or any other related field of study oriented research field or any relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 3 years of research and/or data management experience in a health care or academic environment (public health, education, occupational health, biostats, I/O psychology). Demonstrated capability and experience working with clinical data involving the manipulation of datasets in database software, including data cleaning and review.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Social Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Information, Computer Science, Information Systems or any other related field of study oriented research field or any relevant field of study.
Minimum of 3 years of research and/or data management experience in wellness related fields within the healthcare environment
