This position is housed in the Florida Center for Reading Research located at 2010 Levy Avenue.
ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a part-time Data Manager skilled in data management and data cleaning in R, Python, and/or SQL (R is preferred) to work on a project involving student data mainly collected in an app. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the oversight and management of our databases and monitoring the data to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of the data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring data, implementing cleaning procedures, and restructuring of data for data analysis.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data management protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with educational staff and data analysts to understand and fulfill their data requirements, providing expertise in data management and database integration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy and protection standards pertaining to student information.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency R, Python, and/or SQL (but R is preferred) especially in filtering data, merging data, and switching between long and wide format.
- Problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, capable of effective collaboration with educational staff and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience as a Data Manager.

The starting salary for this position will start at $21.00/hour based on experience.
