What the job involves:
We are currently seeking an Intern in Data and Performance Management join our team. As an Intern at JLL, you will actively participate in team discussions and projects, conduct data manipulation and analysis, create high-quality data visualizations, work collaboratively with a performance team member and the client to deliver analytical tools, and have the unique opportunity to spearhead a project of your choice to further hone your skills in Data and Performance Management.
As an Intern in Data and Performance Managementat JLL, you will:
- Actively engage in team meetings, bringing new perspectives to discussions, contributing to the understanding of team objectives, and driving progress on ongoing projects.
- Perform key data management tasks by utilizing Microsoft tools to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
- Drive the review, construction, and enhancement of high-quality data visualizations as part of strategic business decision-making.
- Collaborate with a member of the performance team to shape and create a unique data visualization using Tableau, continuously coordinating with a larger team and interfacing with clients to deliver a refined final tool.
- Pioneer the development of a personal project, demonstrating your innovative approach to advancing your own skillset within Data and Performance Management.
- Immerse yourself in hands-on learning experiences with industry-specific tools and software (beyond Tableau) to enhance your technical proficiency.
- Spearhead the compilation of thorough and compelling reports and presentations for internal team meetings or key client interactions.
- Participate in professional development experiences, such as insightful workshops, webinars, or mentorship programs, to accelerate your personal and professional growth.

Education, Skills, and Experience
- Required:
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program or in a Master's program related to Real Estate, Business, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of SQL and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite for data manipulation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to work both individually as well as part of a team.
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
- Eagerness to learn new concepts, technologies, and processes.
- Experience with Google Docs and SmartSheet.
- Prior internship or work experience in a business setting.
- Experience demonstrating strong teamwork and self-motivation skills.
