Recreational - Sports Management and Marketing unpaid Internship
Recreational - Sports Management and Marketing Internship at Childrens Advocate Group will assist in the day-to-day operations of all sports, recreation, exercise and community events. Duties will also include inventory management, equipment maintenance, staff management with a special emphasis on social skills/customer service with the public. The internship position requires evening and weekend hours. Applicants should be recreation, Sports Management or marketing degree candidates looking to work on the operations, marketing side of Childrens Advocate events team. Typically, 12 of the 35 hours are unpaid and depending on your school requirements and tasks during each week.

Requirements
Degree or enrolled towards a degree in Sports Management, physical education, recreation, or related field.
Ability to work 12-35 set hours a week.
Friendly, outgoing and can oversee children and adults in a high-pressure indoor and outdoor environment.
Interested in management, marketing, event and sports and recreational therapeutic activities.
Responsibilities
Team leader for Counseling/therapeutic events & staff, camps, and rental on the day of the activity.
Provide excellent customer service. Assist in planning and booking events, summer camps, rentals, and events.
Manage event supplies and equipment inventory. This includes inspection for defects and ease of use. All internship duties as assigned.
