Collaborating with our engineering team, you'll have the chance to pitch innovative new product lines and features, marketing channels, media plans, and strategies.
This internship will be partially remote but the hired applicant will be expected to come into the Mount Prospect office a minimum of 40% of the week. Only local applicants will be considered.
This internship will begin at the start of 2024 and will last for 12 months.
This internship will be part of the Global Product Team within the Dremel business unit. Alongside Product Managers, this intern will be supporting a wide range of marketing activities for customer and country executions, value improvements & buyouts, and licensing. The chosen candidate will be supporting activities within North America, Asia Pacific & Latin America/South America. These activities include:
- Value improvement projects, cost vs. benefit evaluations, and implementation support
- Product launch support & current product portfolio management
- Product life cycle management analysis, data maintenance & product discontinuance
- Forecasting & formulating of product opportunities including market analysis & user research
The goal of this internship is to develop into a key support for Product Marketing and to be self-sufficient in marketing projects by the end of the rotation.
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within 6 months) of an accredited program within Business, Marketing, or Management
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to shift focus and work under short deadlines
- Highly collaborative; able to build productive, positive working relationships internally and externally
- Proficient Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
