Customer Service Specialist – 1st Shift

Shift Pattern: 1st shift working Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

Numet, Customer Service Specialist

Numet is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join the team This person is responsible for providing support in order handling and customer support to customers. The Customer Service Specialist will partner with various departments through the lifecycle of an order to ultimately meet customers’ expectations. The Customer Support Specialist will report to the site Account Manager.

Role Accountabilities:

• Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely fashion
• Receive customer orders, verify pricing, lead times, and terms prior to entering in ERP system
• Acknowledge receipt of orders with customers
• Communicate with customers through professional verbal and written communications, concerning all aspects of their order
• Update customer portals with delivery commitments
• Attend all meetings with customer focused outcome, keep and distribute minutes
• Collaborate with the various departments concerning engineering data, planning, supply chain, and production as it relates to customer orders
• Compile internal reports as required relating to order status and updates
• Participates in ensuring customer information is accurate in ERP system

Person Specification and Other Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in CUSTOMER SERVICE or sales-oriented environment
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience with customer portals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• An understanding and alignment to our Bromford Values; Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence.
• Must be a US Citizen

Facility Requirements:

• Manufacturing Area: 50% of the time
• Noise: Moderate on manufacturing floor, low to none in office setting
