We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with shippers to coordinate schedules, set up shipping dates and locations, identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions. The ideal candidate is friendly yet assertive, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure and problem solve keeping the companies' best interest in mind.
Responsibilities

- Call customers to schedule their moves. Take in bound calls to handle rescheduling or questions as needed.
- Identify the reason for the shipper, client or carrier call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions or pass on info to the right team member.
- Refer to premade scripts and company standards to coordinate shipping dates and answer questions
- Attention to detail in building orders in our system and in carrier system as they come in on a daily basis
- Document accurate and timely notes on all shipper interactions
- Identify problems that need to be escalated to management and dispatch team.
- Thrive in a phone driven, fast paced, multi-tasking, and Customer Service environment.
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred
- Comfortable using computers and customer management software
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of active listening techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
