Customer Service / Fulfillment Manager

This unique Customer Service / Fulfillment Manager position for our East Coast operations requires a person with a wide variety of talents including the ability to multi-task between Customer Service, scheduling deliveries (incoming and outgoing), planning, working with a variety of freight companies, vendors, and managing a small support team. The ideal candidate will be very organized, extremely detail oriented, safety conscious and experienced at achieving customer satisfaction.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provides a high level of Customer Service and administrative support for incoming loads and outgoing deliveries
- Handles telephone inquiries with customers, sales team, and vendors
- Enters customer orders
- Schedules orders for delivery
- Can manage the requirements and needs of a diverse team of outside salespeople
- Works harmoniously with East Coast Distribution Manager and distribution team
- Can manage a small team of inside sales support specialists
- Customer conflict resolution
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 5 years Customer Service management
· Fulfillment management and dispatching experience
· Excellent basic mathematical skills: can determine costs, margins, etc.
· Critical thinking skills
· Exceptional administrative skills
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office: especially Excel
· Highly effective communicator between manager, sales staff, operational staff, customers, and vendors
· Highly organized files (computer, paper, email)
· Excellent telephone demeanor
· Problem solver
· Team oriented / Team player
· Strong Customer Service orientation
· Positive attitude
· Dependable
· Self-motivated
