The Ekblade Agency is a locally owned, well known and award winning CT Allstate Agency that has been recognized many times for our high performance sales team and our world-class Customer Service.
We currently have an amazing opportunity in our service department! We are looking to hire, bilingual(preferred), experienced Customer Service "SUPER STARS"! We are seeking individuals who have experience in Customer Service and are ready to help our clients with auto, home, life, renters insurance & more. Compensation includes hourly plus commission & bonus opportunity.
In this HYBRID position (Both in-office and work from home schedule) as aCustomer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for the agency. You will be answering the phones, helping with tasks such as applying payments, answering billing questions, making policy changes, assisting with the claims process, and helping our sales team to ensure we provide world class service to our clients.
Salary: $35000.00 - $45000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet walk in clients with a polite and professional manner
Assist current customers with service-related tasks, including but not limited to processing payments, making changes to existing polices, troubleshooting billing questions, assisting with the claims process
Assist the sales team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Have an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
Ask each customer for referrals and recommendations
Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products. (Commissions available for any sales completed by the CSR!)
Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
Manage and maintain a positive office environment and perform any other office related tasks
Requirements
Have a minimum 1 year Customer Service Experience *Required*
Insurance Experience preferred
Previous Allstate experience a plus
Have a proven track record of dependability & reliability showing up to work as scheduled, on time.
Desire to want to help educate others on insurance how and why its important to have the proper coverage
Have an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Create relationships from a cold start and be able to handle customer rejection.
Have the ability to answer prospective client's questions efficiently and effectively.
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency preferred
