Job Summary:
This position will perform commercial credit analysis of new and existing business borrowers underwriting their creditworthiness and financial health, prepare loan write-ups, and perform annual reviews of existing commercial loans.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform commercial credit analysis on the bank's existing customers as well as new business loan prospects using the bank's underwriting software.
• Spreading and analyzing business and personal financials using the bank's underwriting software.
• Researching the borrowers' current industry trends and forecasts.
• Monitor loan covenants and underwriting conditions for compliance with bank loan policy.
• Update financial ticklers.
• Document loan policy exceptions when applicable.
• Organize financials upon receipt within imaging software.
• Assist Commercial Loan Officers fielding questions and collecting financials from all current and potential loan customers when needed.
• Serve as back up to the Senior Credit Analyst and other Credit Administration staff.
• Attend and contribute to scheduled department meetings.
• Adhere to all applicable banking regulations at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
