Job Summary:
The Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing financial statements, underwriting loan requests, and evaluating the credit worthiness of commercial loan applicants.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform credit analysis and underwriting of commercial loan customers' financial information and provide written analysis of work performed.
- Conduct credit investigations and analyze financial statements for new and existing customers, regularly communicate with loan officers, and assist in the preparation of financial/credit information packages for review and approval by loan officers and/or loan committees.
- Perform periodic reviews of existing loan files and financial information.
- Spread financial information via Credit Quest.
- Maintain knowledge of the Bank's Loan Policy and accurately identify policy exceptions.
- Complete global cash flow analysis on credits.
- Obtain bids and engage appraisals for commercial loan requests, send finalized appraisal reports on for third-party review, and address any questions posed by reviewers.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports and submit to CCO for review.
- Attend Loan Review Committee meetings and take minutes as assigned.
- Assist with special projects.
- Support the credit administration team by completing various assigned tasks.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 1+ years of commercial financial analysis/credit analysis required.
Equipment/Software:
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with Credit Quest underwriting program preferred.
