Visual Communication Specialist

Position Summary: The Visual Communication Specialist is responsible for editing and enhancing video content, creating compelling graphics and animations, collaborating with the marketing team, and ensuring the final output aligns with our organization’s vision. Reporting to the Director of Outreach Development, this position is part of a dynamic, energetic, and creative Marketing & Development team. This role requires a strong understanding of Visual Communication principles, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and a dedication to producing high-quality multimedia content that engages our audience.

Essential Job Functions

1. Developing new & creative designs for different campaigns that may be a graphic design, a video, voice or photo clip

2. Protect the Child Foundation brand by overseeing the adherence to the organization’s graphic standards

3. Oversee resource designs used on social channels and sent to donors created by contractors, volunteers, or yourself (e.g., images to accompany posts, ads, website content, cover images, landing pages, etc.) and coordinate printing and mailing with the Director of Outreach Development

4. File management of provided resources by partners and maintaining data resources for marketing

5. Expand relations to new volunteers who can support us in video production, voice recording, design or translation, or helping us in events

6. Producing and managing marketing content such as social media posts, email marketing etc.

7. Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

· Experience using general design and video editing software

· Experience building files to finished production standards using the most current Adobe Creative Suite programs

· Strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in Farsi and English

Preferred Qualifications:

· Good organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines while coordinating multiple projects and tasks

· Be able to execute design solutions based on initial conceptual and visual direction

· The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently and within a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $28.00 per hour
