The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition but must also be versatile in undertaking non-recruiting HR-related duties during slower recruitment periods. Outline of Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop relationships/partnerships with hiring managers and teams to ensure consistent and meaningful hiring practices; this includes demonstrating a high-touch and highly collaborative attitude.
- Own the full life-cycle process of recruiting and hiring the best talent for the role including sourcing, candidate engagement and closing.
- Assist hiring managers with the recruiting process from requisition creation to interview skills.
- Redesign and deliver appropriate training sessions to hiring teams relative to interview skills, legal interview practices, effective feedback.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Ensure Marchex web site, Internet job boards and internal advertisements are up to date with current job openings.
- Use Marchex applicant tracking system (Jazz HR) to ensure the accurate tracking of all candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Solicit and manage employee referrals.
- Drive the closing process by ensuring timely debriefs with hiring teams, making appropriate offer recommendations, and executing a customized “closing approach” for each candidate.
- In partnership with hiring managers, negotiate and convey hiring package.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws in all hiring and employee relations practices.
- Collaborate with other members of the People Services team to ensure that candidates are successfully transitioned into the organization.
- Assist with People Services related tasks during slower recruitment periods, including onboarding, offboarding, HR coordination, employee communication and guidance, benefits assistance, employee records maintenance, employee engagement, and other initiatives as required.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of professional full life cycle recruiting for technical, sales, business development, administrative, marketing, creative and/or finance related positions.
- Experience and understanding with diversity sourcing and recruiting.
- Proven success in sourcing, screening, and selection of top talent from targeted areas around the United States and Canada.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using ATS and HRIS. Jazz HR and ADP knowledge a plus.
- Strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and report on recruiting metrics.
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively with hiring managers.
- Ability to develop and implement creative sourcing strategies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven experience in non-recruiting HR functions.
- In-depth knowledge of legal compliance requirements and employment laws.
- Ability to adapt quickly and positively to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work with all levels in the organization.
Working Conditions
The job conditions for this position is fully remote. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.

Compensation ($75,000-100,000):
Compensation range listed above may include base salary and short and/or long-term incentives. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
