This is a Temp Recruiter role for a 3-6 month assignment. This role will be REMOTE (EST/CST Preferred).
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team on a temporary assignment. You will play a pivotal role on our team by identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent for positions across Marketing, HR, Finance, Merchandising, Store Development, eComm, Legal and other non-tech corporate departments. You will leverage your expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and in-depth understanding of how to source and secure exceptional candidates who will drive our company's growth and success for both Leadership and Professional roles.

Responsibilities:- Partner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
- Conduct thorough candidate searches, leveraging a variety of sourcing techniques, including industry networks, online platforms, and retained search methodologies.
- Qualify and screen candidates, conducting in-depth interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for assigned searches, from initial outreach to offer negotiation and candidate onboarding.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-caliber executives in the retail industry.
- Possess a deep understanding of the retail industry landscape, leadership trends, and compensation practices.
- Stay current on industry news, market fluctuations, and competitor activity to inform your search strategies.
- Be able to effectively communicate the value proposition of Foot Locker to potential candidates.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers across various departments, effectively communicating search progress and candidate qualifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences.
- Track and analyze key metrics related to your searches, including time-to-fill, time to hire and source.
- Regularly report on search progress and candidate insights to hiring managers and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of recruiting experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in executive/leadership recruiting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate recruiting.
- Proven track record of successfully placing Manager and above candidates in non-tech roles (Marketing, HR, Finance/Accounting, Store Development, eComm, Legal roles, etc. preferably within the retail industry.)
- Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
- Excellent research and sourcing skills, leveraging both traditional and online methods.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to present compelling offers to top talent.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for the retail industry and a strong understanding of current trends is preferred.
- Proficiency in recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (ATS). iCIMS is a plus.
