Coordinator Of Esports After School Program

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as the Coordinator of Esports After School Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an engaging and enriching esports program for students After School hours. This role involves coordinating various aspects of the program, including scheduling, coaching, equipment management, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive esports curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of students.

- Coordinate the scheduling of Esports activities and tournaments in alignment with school calendars.

- Recruit, train, and supervise coaches and volunteers to assist with program activities.

- Manage and maintain esports equipment and technology, including gaming consoles, computers, and peripherals.

- Facilitate esports coaching sessions and provide guidance to students to enhance their skills and sportsmanship.

- Organize and oversee esports tournaments, leagues, and events both on-site and off-site.

- Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and parents to promote the esports program and encourage student participation.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during esports activities by enforcing rules and regulations and maintaining a positive and respectful environment.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of the program through assessments and feedback from participants and stakeholders.

- Stay updated on trends and developments in the esports industry to continuously improve the program.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, Sports Management, or related field.

- Experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting, preferably in esports or gaming.

- Strong knowledge and passion for esports, gaming culture, and industry trends.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to lead and motivate students and staff in a team-oriented environment.

- Proficiency in using esports technology and gaming software.

- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
