Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager seeking an opportunity in the cannabis industry?

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for documentation, task delegation, and monitoring of the assigned Construction Projects; yield standards are maintained, operating procedures and overall regulatory and permitting adherence. The Construction PM will be responsible for leading contractors, subcontractors, and team members to achieve construction deadlines and report back on status and site progress at our Cultivation Facilities located in our Northeast states of operation, including Amesbury, MA, Athol, MA, and Smithfield, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees assigned Construction Projects from start to completion
  • Procure the necessary resources, equipment and labor required to complete the project on time and to budget
  • Manages and tracks inventory and assets required for the project
  • Reports to upper management on status, cautions and risks
  • Acts as liaison between vendors, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and project team members
  • Assist in procurement of permits
  • Conduct and verify safety, compliance, and regulatory checks
  • Design and implement procedures and systems to proactively manage assigned projects, GCs, and vendors on construction tracking software.
  • Manage proper project close outs including: 1) punch list set up and follow up on its closing, 2) assure that contractor submits proper Close Out Packages for each projects with all required warranties, as-builds, manuals, etc.
  • Compose and send out requests for proposals for various size projects.
  • Follow up and collect bids
  • Run Q&As and RFIs cession with bidders. Receive and distribute answers from Architect and Engineer
  • Align the bids and produce the comparison table for each project.
  • Assist in establishing proper contractual agreement

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages and contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Issues written & verbal instructions; examines for conformance to regulations and policy.
  • Manage the construction meetings with stake holders on site and contractors

Education, Experience, Eligibility, and Training:

  • 5 + years of Construction Project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • 1+ years Commercial Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with up to 75% travel
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, Highly Proficient in MS Excel
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work enthusiastically with constantly changing priorities
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on process improvement; ability to find and describe flaws and inefficiencies in processes, and suggest clear, reasonable solutions
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic knowledge of general business concepts
  • Detail-oriented, willingness to thoroughly execute established cultivation SOP's.
  • Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
