Job Description:
As a Senior Civil Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing large-scale heavy Civil Construction Projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy Civil Construction, a track record of successful project delivery, and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the execution of heavy Civil Construction Projects from initiation to completion.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to ensure projects stay within budget constraints.
- Ensure that construction activities adhere to industry standards and quality specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Identify and assess project risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy Civil Construction Projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus as is a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
