Henry General Contractors, Inc. seeking talented Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of federal, state and private Construction Projects.
Role Description
- Managing Construction Projects of moderate to high-level complexity from inception to project completion
- Support site operations ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, company standards, and operational requirements.
- Create and manage submittals and RFI's.
- Provide support for management in the oversight of project contract work.
- Assist in review and approval of project contractor schedules, and respond to information, submittals, and change requests.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of the project, following a logical pattern for utilization of resources to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety regulations.
- Attends seminars, company training, or workshops to remain abreast of the latest industry developments.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Excellent understanding of construction safety regulations, building codes, and project management principles
- Experience managing and coordinating construction crews and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and decision-making
- Certification in construction safety or project management is a plus.
