The Procopio Companies (TPC) is a growing ground-up multifamily developer based in Middleton, Massachusetts. Our residential projects range from $12mm-$125mm in and around southern New England. TPC is a vertically integrated firm, with development, construction management and asset management in-house, as well as self-performing civil, sitework and utility construction.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing assigned projects. Should be an experienced and motivated individual, able to work equally well in a collaborative team environment, or individually leading his or her assigned projects and team.
Responsibilities:
· Promote workplace safety, encouraging safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
· Independently prepare takeoffs and cost estimates at different stages of design.
· Develop and maintain jobsite material storage plan, RFI log and submittal log.
· Be familiar with TPC contracts and requirements.
· Collaborate with project engineers, Project Managers and superintendents to develop and maintain the project schedule.
· Conduct scope reviews of all subcontracts and purchase orders.
· Prepare submittal schedules, review and submittals for approval.
· Check in and coordinate with project superintendents and all project activities to ensure adherence to scheduled milestones.
· Attend and keep minutes for regular progress meetings with project team.
· Attend final walkthrough to complete the project punch list and conduct a project closeout meeting to include any pertinent documentation.
· Track and report inconsistencies in project activities or production.
· Provide all information and/or support to the development, management and estimating teams as needed.
· Managing time-sensitive special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Actively work to mentor and provide direction to the Assistant Project Manager
- Up to 25% Travel required
Qualifications:
· Minimum 4 years experience working in building construction preferred.
· Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card; or the ability to acquire a current card.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
· Knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
· Familiarity with state and local agency policies and procedures.
· Experience utilizing Procore, Microsoft office applications, and other construction management software programs preferred.
· Ability to read plans, specifications, and special provisions, and convey this information to others.
· Able to work in a team-oriented environment efficiently and effectively.
· Aptitude in math, strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to look at issues from various different angles effectively problem solve for the good of the project and
