Community Relations and Outreach Development Navigator
This is a full time position!
The Community Relations and Outreach Development Director is charged with leading the Community Relationsand Outreach Development efforts of the PAM Health System throughout the service area. This includes proactively developing and executing an overarching strategy for consumer marketing, media, and public relations opportunities. The ultimate objective of this role is to increase brand awareness and visibility for all PAM Health System programs, and creating and implementing executable strategies to realize this goal is the highest priority. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is an exempt position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Objectives
- Develop a strategy to build and maintain programs and activities that will have a positive impact on the community through our PAM Health service area
- Build and maintain relationships with members of the community, key individuals, and other health related organizations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for neighboring businesses, institutions, and communities.
- Be an ambassador for the organization, with responsibilities for delivering the company’s vision within the local community
Job Responsibilities
- Organize community outreach programs and coordinate special events that promote clinical services of all PAM Health facilities within service area.
- Draft and distribute various communications that promote PAM Health as well as individuals or groups within the company.
- Cultivate business to business relationships with C-Suite and other influential stakeholders within key business sectors to support PAM Health business objectives
- Attend relevant events and activities to represent the company and build strong relationships with key community members.
- Build cross-functional relationships within the company and promote services internally.
- Plan and coordinate events/support groups for the organization.
- Develop a volunteer capability to support our military related patient constituencies.
- Manage social media content plans to enhance the online profile of the company.
- Active involvement in department activities, transdisciplinary team activities, and PAM activities to ensure individualized, patient-centered health care for all patient populations admitted to PAM hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience: At least two years healthcare and business industry experience is preferred. Two years of proven successful metric-based sales/marketing experience preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and communication skills required
- Proficient with computer applications
- Knowledge of workers compensation and disability industry
