Description
An intern with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos works in an organization and environment that is recognized as one of the best in minor league baseball. The Blue Wahoos hope to provide each intern valuable work experience. The position is seasonal and does not include benefits. This position will also include comprehensive in-house sales training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sell ticket packages and sponsorships through both inbound and outbound calls
Provide outstanding customer service to all groups pre/post game
Learn and effectively use ticketing system and CRM system to book all groups
Capture photos of in-game and Community sponsorship activations
Work as a liaison between partners or group leaders and the sales team
Assist in gameday preparations, including but not limited to: clean and prepare party decks, labeling party deck tables, ensure umbrellas are up, setting up gameday signs, inflatables etc.
Assist in scheduling and attending mascot appearances
Assist in scheduling and attending player appearances
Assist in scheduling and conduct field trips and stadium tours
Assist in scheduling and conducting Kazoo's Reading program visits
Assist in fulfilling and tracking donations
Assisting in operating game day 50/50 raffle
Assist with tarp pulls
Provide support to other departments, as necessary
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to attend company events of all types
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to pull tarp and other manual labor tasks
Education and Experience
College student preferred and customer service experience.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and the use of standard office equipment including computers.
