The Chief Marketing Officer for Arrowhead Programs is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of the organization's marketing and advertising initiatives. Will work across programs leadership teams to orchestrate industry leading brands, social and traditional media, and leads teams of marketing professionals spanning communications, business development, and operations to drive customer experience to deliver successful business results for a leading division within Brown & Brown, one of the world’s largest insurance brokers and a public traded company (NYSE:BRO).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is responsible to deliver a clearly articulated brand (to teammates, carriers, producers and policyholders) that leaders are able to leverage to grow their own businesses. Evidence and artifacts of success include actual business results, direct customer experience and insights about same, social media presence and successful digital marketing campaigns. Executed through leadership of high performing teams of professionals across marketing disciplines, some led directly and others orchestrated where not directly led.
Examples of specific results include:
Brand: leverage and articulate the brand, brand refreshes, and collaborating across all program brands, and parent Brown & Brown, to arrive at a clear and cohesive marketplace position:
- Brand development of the Arrowhead Programs brand.
- Working with department heads and staff to discuss plans and marketing strategies.
- Working with outside public relations firm to lead and direct certain communications.
- Building brand awareness, including positioning.
- Compiling lists that describe company offerings.
- Identifying the target audiences and developing appropriate messages for each.
Customer Experience leadership for certain specific brands and programs, and champion across the programs division and other divisions of the parent company:
- Coordination of CRM across teams and platforms
- Landing pages/websites for:
- Transactions by direct customers and/or producers.
- Informational websites (i.e. Arrowehadgrp.com and Nationalprograms.com).
- Hand-offs from same, for example “become a producer” page to Marketing Ops team and Dynamics CRM for appointment/contracting.
- Customer experience data points, for example AEX bill pay and paperless penetrations, CSR team incoming call types/volume.
- Survey, monitor, report on customer insights for feedback loop back to top of funnel.
- Customer experience and customer journey for various selected products, programs, and platforms.
Social media and digital marketing campaigns for certain specific brands and programs, and champion across the programs division and other divisions of the parent company.
- Digital Marketing efforts for various projects, programs and brands.
- Top of the funnel social media and blog posting.
- Paid advertising to industry publications, online, and direct customer groups.
- HubSpot and like software tools to manage email, direct and other internal ad campaigns.
- Develop and implement strategic online initiatives.
- Lead marketing campaigns from idea stage through execution and implementation.
- Monitor and evaluate media campaigns to keep fresh and effective.
- Negotiating advertising contracts.
- Staying current with emerging opportunities in digital marketing world.
Leadership of teammates at Arrowhead Programs:
- Leadership of various specific teams.
- Collaborating with finance department on budget to include research and development appropriations, expenditures, and profit-loss projections.
- Assess, lead and create marketing plans, marketing strategy, and related planning, coordinating, and direction of specific marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the Marketing field
- Experience in people leadership and management
- Experience with brand management
- Experience with digital marketing campaigns and social media marketing
- Customer Relationship Management experience utilizing Dynamics, SalesForce or similar CRM tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and time management skills.
- Robust copywriting experience and skill
- Attention to detail.
- 20% to 30% of time is travel in support of teammates, projects, conferences, etc.
