Job Summary:
The Individual Supports Worker position is a part-time or full-time position located in Worcester area and provides direct adult companion care in support to an individual with brain injuries and other chronic medical and mental health conditions. Support is provided in the community or at the individual's residence with the goal of maximizing the individuals' capacity for personal growth, independence, and community membership. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with setting up and accessing services in the community, transportation to activities and medical appointments, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and support with activities of daily living at home, as necessary. Additional responsibilities include various administrative tasks, including daily note submissions and time tracking.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree and related experience highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills along with a demonstrated ability to work with adults with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury or those with substance abuse, mental health, or dual diagnosis needs independently in the community.
Potential candidates must have a personal vehicle to provide transportation, as this is an accentual job function.
All hires must be Covid-19 vaccinated or willing to receive vaccination upon hire.
