Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by our customers. You will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions accurately, providing medication counseling to patients, administering vaccines, completing MTMs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any medication-related inquiries or concerns
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active pharmacy license in South Carolina
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and standards of practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred but not required
