Provides clerical and administrative assistance to support the office manager and administrator of the facility.
Duties may include:
o Assists with incoming calls and communications.
o Manages filing systems.
o Updates paperwork and documents in word processing.
o Organizes and maintains office areas.
o Performs general office duties.
o Inputs information into databases and spreadsheets (excel).
- Maintains and reconciles daily and monthly census in excel and facility software.
- Maintain and ensure resident financial files are complete along with signed admission agreements and insurance documents upon admission.
- Assist with inputting new residents and insurance financial set up in facility software.
- Assist with billing insurance claims to various payer types in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Work with insurance companies after billing on following up on claim status.
- Mail monthly private statements for resident accounts.
- Monitor and collect private account balances and report delinquent accounts to facility Administrator.
- Assist with Resident Trust accounts per regulations. Provides each resident with a quarterly statement of funds managed by the facility.
- Runs eligibility twice a month for all residents. Once on the first of the month and once on the 15th of the month.
- Assist Business Office manager in posting insurance payments.
- Assist in additional Business Office duties as needed.
