The sales team is looking for an enterprise (major account) Business Development Manager who has experience establishing, fostering and managing relationships with both highly technical and leadership level accounts.

This is a work from home position. Employee must be in the North East, preferably in Philadelphia, PA.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$130,000 + Commissions.

What you'll do:

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a territory plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline.
  • Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around Apogee services.
  • Analyze sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Update internal systems and participate in team and strategy meetings.

Technical Aptitude. Pick up on technical things quickly, and you are good at learning new products, and new technologies.

Inherit Time Management. You have a natural strength in managing your time, and it’s demonstrated in the work systems, and approach you to take with your job.

Requirements

  • Experienced (10+ years) in complicated sales cycles, especially in a role that often requires knowledge of how state buying cycles and contracts work.
  • Consistent record of developing a deep network of clients within a managed services company or consultant environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop a territory.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time or more as needed to achieve company goals.
