THE POSITION
Are you enthusiastic about loan services? The Department of Community and Economic Development through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) is actively looking for a committed individual to join their Loan Underwriting team as an Account Project Manager. As part of this role, you will be in charge of managing various aspects of Economic Development work, with a specific focus on reviewing, processing, and underwriting business loan applications for the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) programs and Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loan program. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As the project account manager, your responsibilities will include evaluating, processing, and underwriting commercial real estate and equipment loan applications for PIDA and CFA programs. You will examine financial statements, request further details from applicants, underwrite the loan application, and offer guidance to clients. Additionally, you will assess contract documents, authorize payment requests, and oversee project audits to ensure compliance. You will also suggest enhancements and updates to the programs, analyze achievements, and actively participate in site visits and public presentations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
  • Willing and able to work in and commute to Dauphin County Harrisburg, PA
  • College-level accounting coursework
  • Experience underwriting loans or reviewing / completing financial spreads for businesses
  • Experience performing analytical work
