Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and innovative Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategies to expand our business into new markets, forge partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential opportunities and trends within the property management sector.
- Analyze market data to understand competitive landscapes, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices in Business Development to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets, diversify revenue streams and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Networking, Lead Generation, and Relationship Building:
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance our visibility and expand our professional network.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and decision makers to foster partnerships and business opportunities.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, cold calling, digital marketing, and referrals.
- Proactively prospect and qualify potential clients to assess their needs and align what Aborn Powers has to offer them.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to help become a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and support.
- Understand client needs and requirements to customize solutions and services accordingly.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client engagements.
- Provide input to produce development and service enhancement initiatives based on market feedback and client needs to improve the overall customer experience.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and analyze Business Development activities, including lead generation, client meetings, and proposal submissions, using CRM systems or other tools, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has solid references working in similar work environments with a proven track record. Must have a current real estate license. Prefer someone with 5 years as a licensed realtor or managerial experience, but that is not a requirement. The position requires someone who is self-motivated, conscientious, dependable, comfortable with meeting new people and making cold calls that has great interpersonal communication skills.
