- Manage the Life Support Systems department and animal departments, their exhibits and associated programs
- Supervise Curators, Assistant Curators, and the coordinator of all activities of personnel engaged in the inventory, care, feeding and handling of animals
- Ensure that all proper records of animal inventory, animal dispositions and health records are accurate and maintained
- Ensure the facility stays consistent with AZA and American Human Guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Zoology or related field with relevant course work
- Complete knowledge of all phases of animal husbandry programs, systems design, physical life support operations , and exhibit design and display techniques
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
