We're seeking a Business Development representative in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, goal-driven, self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to go out and find potential clients. IT Sales experience preferred. Responsibilities :
Develop relationships to create leads, discover prospects IT needs, and work with them through close of sale and after sale follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction.
Approach prospective clients through in-person meetings, networking events, cold-calling, email, etc. to meet sales targets.
Schedule and attend client meetings, prepare proposals, SOW's and coordinate with the technical and purchasing areas.
Requirements :
IT technical knowledge/aptitude is necessary for this role.
Professional appearance and ability to interact with C-Level executives and decision makers.
Must be able to use CRM (knowledge of ConnectWise a plus) and Microsoft tools to administer SOW, sales proposals, and accurately track all sales activities.
Must be highly organized, goal oriented, and able to multi-task with a sense of urgency.
Base salary commensurate with experience + commission. Great growth opportunity for the right person.
