Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking a resourceful, experienced Executive level VP of Business Development to join our team.

The primary responsibility is to enhance and lead our team to achieve ITC’s objective of increasing DoD Service type business opportunities across a wide span of Government Agencies, including but not limited to DoD (DHS, NASA, GSA, VA, etc.).

This individual must possess vast experience and current contacts with desired Government agencies to pursue relevant business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Make and grow personal and professional connections, establish relationships to proactively foster new business growth primarily in current Air Force, Navy, and Army markets
• Expand ITC’s DoD business base of sustainable, profitable business, consistent with corporate goals to increase proposal win rate
• Populate and mature leads in the ITC Business Development opportunity pipeline
• Interface with DoD Government personnel at the various Product Centers, Logistics Centers, and respective Small Business offices to introduce and familiarize these agencies with ITC’s capabilities
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the current and prospective Tri-Service marketplace in which ITC conducts and plans to conduct future business
• Become knowledgeable of ITC’s goals and projections, tools, past performance, availability of existing or potential contract vehicles to pursue
• Pursue innovative solutions to increase ITC capabilities and contracting solutions
• Interface with ITC Business Development, including Capture/Proposal Manager, and operational personnel regularly to coordinate plans, projects, and schedules

Education/Qualifications:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher with the ability to maintain it
• Bachelor’s Degree required with preferred Government background and experience
• Demonstrated experience in defense contracting, creating and developing Business Development leads and growing work opportunities and win rates
• A team player can work with cross-functional teams (i.e., program manager, logisticians, engineers, etc.)
• Strong excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently with a geographically dispersed team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
