Bookkeeper

```Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Duties: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Prepare and process journal entries - Perform general ledger reconciliation - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees - Prepare financial reports and statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software - Familiarity with technical accounting principles and practices - Experience with general ledger reconciliation - Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines If you are a highly organized individual with a passion for numbers and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
