Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, recording financial data, and creating financial reports. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently, and possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities
- Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or related field
- Proficient in accounting software, we use QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
