Job Description:

Great companies need great teams to propel their operations. Kivu is searching for a full time talented Billing Specialist who desires a career in a fast paced work environment. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with industry leaders helping to fight cybercrime and protect humanity by being a key supporting role within our Finance department. A successful candidate will have an eye for detail, be passionate about the work they do, and enjoy collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Reconcile credit card expense entries to monthly statements.
• Review timesheets weekly for projects weekly and follow up on missing timesheets.
• Create, track and issue accurate project invoices along with sales orders
• Prepares journal entries and ensures proper GL coding
• Communicate with Project Managers to ensure client satisfaction
• Resolve account issues as needed and communicate issues / concerns regarding account activity to supervisor and management.
• Processes appeals and credit memos with managers approval
• Create and review project set up in accordance with contract specifications
• Reconciles accounts and prepares project for close out review
• Creates reports from system data and take initiative to automate recurring requests
• Assist with special projects and provides coverage for others as needed
• Develop knowledge of industry standard best practices

Requirements:

• Associates of Science in Business, Accounting, Finance plus 5 years of experience or Bachelors of Science in Business, Accounting, Finance plus and 2 years of experience
• Experience with collections
• Keen Financial Business Acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Organizational skills, a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
Able to meet requirements with minimal oversight and direction.

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior Netsuite experience or similar platform
• Prior billing experience in Legal, Insurance or Construction industry
