We are seeking an experienced Physician Practice Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all facets of Revenue Cycle Management, including billing, claims corrections, payment reconciliation, billing encounter reconciliation, claim appeals, claim follow-up, identifying and reporting inefficiencies and claim denial trends, working with patients to resolve outstanding balance issues, setting up payment plans, and ensuring follow-up on collection efforts to ensure timely reimbursement for all services provided. Your most recent experience working with physician practice(s) is required.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Medical Billing & Accounts Receivable for physician practices (Professional Claims/HCFA 1500) - Required
- 10+ years of experience in Medical Appeals and Denials - Required
- Lead or Supervisor Experience to include Payer Enrollments (ERA/EFT, Provider Portal, etc.) - Preferred
- Knowledge and experience billing Commercial and Government Payers, including recent experience billing Original Medicare & Medicare Advantage plans - Required
- Experience with Medicare Part B *** Required
- Knowledge of Medical and Insurance Terminology
- Ability to work independently
- 10+ years’ experience with Insurance Collections - Required
- Ability to learn new PM/EHR software quickly - Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
