JOB SUMMARY:
As a Casino Cage Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to casino guests by facilitating various financial transactions. Your primary responsibilities will include cashing casino chips, processing cash-out vouchers, making change, and cashing checks. Additionally, you will handle marker issues and payments to ensure smooth and efficient operations at the cage window. Your precision, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills will contribute to the smooth functioning of financial transactions and enhance the overall experience of casino guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for managing funds, conducting accurate balancing, verifying wins, and effectively handling customer disputes.
- Communicate effectively with guests, fellow team members, and management, both verbally and in writing.
- Utilize computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, proficiently.
- Be fully knowledgeable about all Title 31 and relevant Gaming Control Board regulations or the ability to learn and understand them.
- Balance cashier bank and maintain accuracy according to established standards.
- Process Pit fills and credits efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass pre-employment (hair & urine) drug tests.
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Possess prior experience in handling large sums of money.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, walking, and lifting.
- Possess strong language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Obtain or renew all necessary government-required licenses or certifications, particularly a Nevada Gaming license.
- Normal, corrective vision range with the ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols.
