POSITION SUMMARY:
The Billing Specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely invoice creation, proper invoice entry into supplier sites, and recording and reconciling invoices timely in order to maximize revenues. The Billing Specialist will assist in the clarification and development of process improvements and inquiries. Other duties include overseeing invoice accuracy from sales team and reporting to Billing Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Invoice customers of field services employees’ timesheets.
- Upload required documentation to invoices in QB.
- Upload invoices to proper supplier sites.
- Understand customer requirements and where to find information. May be required to upload new customer information and keep it up-to-date.
- Enter invoices on spreadsheet trackers and double checking at the end of the week or monthly. (Will be determined by billing manager)
- Troubleshoot invoicing disputes as upper management requires.
- Cross train in areas as billing manager requires to maintain workflow.
- Process all email requests.
- Process parts, email invoices and double check sales tax and required information.
- Assist with IT issues.
- Perform duties in an efficient, team-oriented manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed mostly in a controlled atmosphere. Some exposure to manufacturing/harsh conditions for short periods of time is possible.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Sitting 90%; standing/walking 10%. Occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds and 40 pounds rarely.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Past Billing experience preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- High speed and energy, ambitious, and results-oriented; commitment to a culture of performance and excellence is required.
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.
