Job Overview:
As a Benefits Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the employee benefits team from an organizational and administrative capacity.
Responsibilities:
- Generate eligibility spreadsheets and assist with monthly benefits enrollment processes.
- Prepare and distribute employee benefit communications.
- Track communications and responses as needed
- Address employee inquiries and assist with troubleshooting eligibility and enrollment issues.
- Organize and maintain the new hire dependent audit process.
- Assist with new initiatives and implementations within the benefits department.
- Manage day to day activities and support of the benefits staff.
- Collaborate with the team on open enrollment activities and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in Human Resources or Business Administration is a plus.
- in Spanish and English preferred.
- Basic administrative experience; exposure to employee benefits is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Interest in learning about employee benefits and applicable laws.
