Are you looking for a fantastic career at Aqua? We have a great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant II. This position will report directly the the Senior Customer Care Coordinator. This role is intended to provide administrative support to division staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Coordinate the collection and transfer of customer account information for new acquisitions to IT to set up in customer database.
- Input new customer data into Banner (or current customer database) as needed.
- Work with billing department to resolve issues/disputes as needed
- Work with Compliance Department to resolve issues that include regulatory matters and customer complaints and assist with research and provide the data needed to respond to the NJ BPU.
- Input work orders for field maintenance such as service leaks, main breaks, curb box maintenance and meter repairs.
- Provide information to schedule and coordinate meter change-out program Provide progress reports and assist as needed to meet metrics. Orders meters and ERTS to ensure inventory is available for program.
- Review ACO metrics and provide assistance to divisions to ensure compliance in all categories.
- Provide and analyze weekly and monthly operating reports to the divisions.
- Investigate inactive accounts for potential new customer information.
- Support Leak adjustment program, coordinate paperwork and customer bill reduction with ACO.
- Analyze collection accounts and coordinate with management to reduce outstanding customer balances.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Access, e-mail applications, and have the ability to gain proficiency in company technical software such as SAP, CIS-Banner, TimeTrack, ServiceLink, Lawson and Powerplant.
- Must demonstrate ability to organize and complete multiple activities simultaneously
- Self-starter who can operate with little or no direct supervision
- Must have the personality, articulation (both spoken and written) and characteristics necessary to communicate effectively with customers, all levels of management, employees, regulatory agencies, government officials and vendors
- At least three years of experience in a responsible administrative position; bookkeeping, accounting experience or training a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must reside within 30-45 minutes of on-site facility

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
