Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Assistant Manager will enter rent payments, follow up on late rent, process renewal offers for tenants, serve as a first point of contact for current and former tenants, and other property management tasks as needed. Successful candidates will be self motivated, highly organized, and possess above average reasoning skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Communicate effectively with current and former tenants via e-mail, phone, and text message.
- Meet new tenants to collect deposits, and conduct move in procedure.
- Collect and record rent payments in adherence with company payment policies.
- Assist in collection of late rent payments.
- Obtain knowledge in the management of renewals, tracking lease expirations, recording notices to vacate and interviewing residents for reason, preparing lease expiration letters and renewal leases.
- Obtain knowledge to comply with all Fair Housing regulations.
- Obtain knowledge in recording and obtaining actionable information on resident service requests, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Assist with advising Direct of Operations of conditions at properties affecting the resident’s safety and dissatisfaction or the property’s condition.
- Maintain professional dress and conduct at all times.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Perform other duties as required.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
