Salary```Overview:
Venture Communities, is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Assistant Manager. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring compliance with various affordable housing programs, including HUD Section 8, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
Duties:
- Assist with property leasing and marketing efforts
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective residents
- Provide excellent customer service to current and potential residents
- Assist with resident inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Maintain accurate resident records and files
- Assist with rent collection and delinquency management
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders
- Assist with lease renewals and new lease preparation
- Support the Property Manager in various administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, office administration, or property leasing preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year affordable housing industry (HUD, LIHTC) (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is required.
- Strong understanding of contract management and lease agreements
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills
- Proficiency in OneSite property management software is preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
