About us! We are a real estate property management company. We own and manage both residential and commercial properties. There are constantly new projects and opportunities to be had here. You will get a vast amount of opportunities to experience all that there is for remodeling properties, creating contracts, and managing different types of properties. We are a smaller size company that has some flexibility for different avenues of growth. As the company expands, we are in need of a qualified candidate that is willing to bring motivation and expertise to the team!
About this position! This position is for a real estate property management office for both residential and commercial properties. We are looking for someone who is able to help assist with multiple tasks and learn quickly! This job does not require a Bachelors degree or Associates degree. Prior work experience in this field will be preferred to help with onboarding in a fast paced work environment. We will need someone who is able to answer the phones in a respectable manner and communicate well with others throughout the business. Please keep in mind that you will be considered a sub-contractor and not an employee. Being a sub-contractor gives you more flexibility. If you need any clarification on this, please let us know!
Responsibilities
- Answering telephones/retrieving voicemails in a respectful manner
- Assist with bookkeeping - QuickBooks experience preferred*
- Retrieving mail from post office boxes
- Taking deposits to banks
- Assisting in writing letters to tenants and creating Leases
- Organization - assist with keeping office organized
- Filing
- Inventory
- Orders
- Marketing
- Move-outs
- Perform Evictions
- Light cleaning in and around the office
* Responsibilities may change from time to time or increase upon demand.
Qualifications:
- Are able to commute to the office and different properties.
- Have their own means of transportation to use throughout the day.
- Are medically well in order to perform different tasks around the office and be able to walk the properties.
- Have great customer service/be able to handle multiple clients.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
- Prior experience in property management and leasing (residential and/or commercial)
- Prior experience in creating Leases or using Lease software is a plus!
- Any prior experience in the accounting software - QuickBooks is a plus!
- Use of basic Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, OneNote.
- Profound use of vocabulary and being able to create/write letters and documents/grammatically correct.
- Be able to collect Tenant payments.
- Be able to create invoices.
- Team player.
- Willing to learn quickly.
- Motivated, hard working, and keep up in a fast paced environment.
