Position Duties/Responsibilities
The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching 4 classes a semester, including three surveys and one upper-level course, along with regular administrative duties and research expectations. The Assistant Professor will work closely with the faculty and staff of the Department of History.
Required/Preferred Qualifications
Required: Ph.D. or ABD in European orWorld History and ability to teach surveys in these fields.
Preferred: Ph.D. completed; teaching and research focus on interactions between Europe and non-Western World (colonial or postcolonial History); Environmental History dimension to research; both online and in-person teaching experience at the university level.
