The Tulane Cancer Center at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor on the Research Track. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent and at least three years of postdoctoral experience. Candidate should have demonstrated publication record in viral and cellular transcriptomics and genomics studies and should have strong expertise with both computational biology with proficiency in Python and/or R programming languages and molecular biology and cell culture approaches. Preferred candidates will have innovative ideas that synergize with current strengths in the human tumor virus group of the center involving non-canonical virus host interactions in virus biology and disease. Candidates should also have experience using clinical data sets to support in vitro and animal model studies. Ideal candidates will have expertise in virus mediated alterations in host epigenetic and genomic regulation of transcription.
