The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Loyola University New Orleans invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor beginning in August 2024.
Examples of Duties
Duties for an Assistant Professor include teaching 3 courses per semester, doing research, and performing departmental and university service. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Typical Qualifications
The appointment is a 10-month position. A PhD in Computer Science is preferred. A Special consideration will be given to candidates with a background in Cyber Security and related fields.
